Artist's Comments

This is a print I did in my print-making class. When I first did it, I imagined the girl running and suddenly hugging her boyfriend as he was walking out of a door. She did it with so much force, that it made him lean back a bit. But it came off as a love gone wrong type of thing in my class. I couldn't pull of a surprised expression on the guy's face so it came out that way.

This was printed on a zinc plate and used some chemical processing thing that I can't remember. I looked it up on Wikipedia, expecting the process to be a very long fancy name. But it's just called "etching." Yes, I felt dumb. XD I scanned it (with my own scanner now, YAY!) and cropped it with Photoshop.

i love :sushi: do you??

ooo btw the i like the way the girl was drawn the most. the shades of contrast is done pretty good. However i do think the boy sorta doesnt stand out as much bc the BG is almostin similar shades as he.

other than that not bad not bad.

Even if I did, it would look totally different because I don't have printing materials anymore. I don't have weird acid things and a press. But if I did, I might actually consider it.

You need to learn how to draw real people and real things. Anime inspiration is a disease.

Why do I feel so Hastily Rendered?
:iconguncastor:
I respect the fact that you have strong opinions. However, you come off as very insulting to those that are inspired by anime and those that work hard on photoshop. You also state your opinions as facts. For those reasons, I found it hard for me to care about anything you have to say.
